New Changes in FASTPASS+ system coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom on 12/18/13

It seems there are more changes coming in the FastPass+ system as Walt Disney World continues to test, and get the system closer to 100%.

Beginning on December 18th, all Animal Kingdom guests will be able to use Fastpass+ including those staying offsite.  During this test the regular FASTPASS paper system will not be available.
Non-Disney resort guests will not be able to make FastPass+ reservations ahead of time, or using My Disney Experience instead they will need to visit a FastPass+ kiosk in the parks to make the reservations on the day of their visit. MagicBands will not be available for non-resort guests, they will instead use their RFID enabled ticket media to access the FastPass+ kiosks and touch sensors.
Resort guests will continue to be able to make advance reservations using My Disney Experience. As with current testing, guests will be able to secure 3 FastPass+ reservations for that day.

• Kilimanjaro Safaris
• Primeval Whirl

AVATAR to Come to Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney is working with James Cameron and Lightstorm Entertainment to bring the land of Pandora from the movie “AVATAR” to life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park.



Walt Disney Imagineering is working to make Pandora a real place for you to see, hear and touch.



In the world of AVATAR you will encounter awe-inspiring floating mountains and wander through a nighttime jungle of bioluminescent plants that are alive with light and sound. Guests will also discover what it feels like to soar into the sky riding a Banshee.



And the new AVATAR-inspired land won’t be the only change. As part of the largest expansion in the history of the Park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will also offer all-new entertainment experiences, including a new nighttime spectacular where live music, floating lanterns, water screens and swirling animal imagery all combine to bring a show to Discovery River that will delight your Clients and truly cap off their day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The Park will introduce more nighttime entertainment as well, including live performers on Discovery Island® and a new nighttime version of the Kilimanjaro Safaris®.
